Employee engagement

“It is easy to change price and product; it is another thing to create a state and behaviorally engaged workforce” (Macey & Schneider, 2008, p. 26).

This statement speaks volume and resonates well with what I aspire to.

The Lin-sanity continues...

Yesterday was my first time watching Jeremy Lin play at The Garden. No wonder people are saying: "To Lin-finity and Beyond". He's good; but is he great? Is he ever going to be a Bryant or a Wayde? I am skeptical. I hope we will still be talking about him come 2014 or 2015. I wish him well.

Cheers,

Gloomy day in Minneapolis

Gloomy Tuesday in the Cities.
Looking forward to going out, nonetheless. :)

First semester

Things have gone pretty well so far; it's just that first semesters are always the hardest. Got too many things to do. Have to go through a lot of red tape. It will take at least a month or so to completely settle down. Night, world.

New chapter

Blogging live from San Francisco International Airport, waiting for my flight to Minneapolis. A lot has gone on lately, and that has totally drained my confidence. One thing I've learned, though, is that "you just can't have everything in life". Don't even think about it  or else it'll just ruin your life.

Will be so busy within the next couple of weeks. Not too sure what the future holds but one thing's clear: it's going to be one heck of a journey. Bring it on.

Coming home

I'm already packing.. Leaving DeKalb in a week or so. Looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead as well as the new chapter in life. Pretty sure it's going to be darn exciting. Take care.
